Three Series To Choose From
Hy-Lok Canada’s quick connectors are classified into three separate product families: The Q Series, Keyed Q Series, and the QF Series.
Q series connectors are easy to use and designed for laboratory environments as well as portable test equipment, gauge calibration, sampling systems, biopharmaceutical applications, gas distribution and more.
Q, Keyed Q, and QF series quick connectors do not require tools for coupling or uncoupling and are designed to require as little shutdown of equipment as possible, and to guarantee there is no chance of over/under tightening, galling, or cross threading.
Key Features
Hy-Lok Canada’s Quick Connectors are constructed with 316 stainless steel or brass, and feature O-rings made of NBR, FFKM, Neoprene, or Ethylene Propylene.
The Q and QF Series include Single End Shut Off (SESO) and Double End Shut Off (DESO) models. SESO models feature body-only shut off, leaving the set exposed when disconnected, and DESO models have both body and stem shut off to minimize spillage and air inclusion. Hy-Lok’s Keyed Q Quick Connectors are colour coded for the sake of convenience and to minimize the chance of accidental mixing of non-non-compatible media.
Specifications
The Q, QF, and Keyed Q Series products range in size from 1/4” to 1” wide and are rated for use in environments as cold as -10°F (-23°C) and as hot as 400°F (204°C). They are durable up to a working pressure of up to 6,000 psig (413 bar). Exact specifications vary depending on series, model, and application.
